Building Attributes

View multiple building features in seconds on the most trusted aerial imagery available

Building Attributes in 25+ Countries

Unlock valuable automated information on hundreds of millions of built structures in 25+ countries around the world. Building attributes are created and derived from the GIC’s Blue Sky collection in urban and many rural areas. Starting with location coordinates, insurers can access available attributes for the closest building or structure using the GIC’s signature endpoints (APIs, and Viewer). And because aerial collections are matched against ground control points, members get a pixel-to-data match between imagery types, elevation data, and building attributes.

Superior Imagery for Accurate Output

How can you make the most of best-in-class aerial imagery for your PIFs? By applying machine learning to get accurate, highly detailed attributes for built structures. Multiple features help improve your visualization on a building, quickly identifying footprint, roof information, and defensible space.

High-res Imagery & Insights for High Return Property Reviews

Quickly analyze the many identified attributes along with the GIC’s high-resolution aerial imagery to help with underwriting, risk analysis, and claims management. Review risk and exposure on a building such as proximity of vegetation to the structure, whether a roof needs updating, and verify the exact location for a policy. This building information is available for current and past image collections.
